Hi Everyone,
Here’s my submission for the Postcard Carnival “Quadrupeds.” This card, with many others is part of a collection my husband inherited from his grandparents. Some of the cards are photos, like this one, others are elaborate floral designs or holiday greetings. But a quadruped this fellow is… so here in all his glory is the mighty buffalo!
The card has no writing on the reverse, but the text on the front says: ”KING OF AMERICAN BEASTS, Copyright – 1906. Sumner W.Matteson” The card was published by W.T. Ridgley Calendar Co., Great Falls, Montana.
